Continuing Education Provider (CEP) Standards

Continuing Education Providers (CEP) support the global yoga community by offering workshops, courses, and training that help yoga teachers expand their skills and knowledge.

Yoga Alliance International recognizes CEPs that provide relevant, educational programs for ongoing professional development.

Requirements

To register as a Continuing Education Provider, applicants must:

• Demonstrate experience teaching yoga or related programs
• Provide a clear overview of courses offered
• Ensure programs are relevant to yoga or professional development
• Follow professional and ethical standards

Programs may be offered in person or online.

Program Types

Continuing education may include:

• Advanced training modules
• Workshops or short courses
• Specialized training programs
• Online courses
• Professional development programs

Maintaining CEP Status

To remain active:

• Continue offering relevant educational programs
• Follow the Code of Conduct
• Maintain active membership
